The poor and miserable Madame Defarge
The Madame Defarge has a very miserable and sad experience in her life. She burned in a poor farmer family. Her sister was persecuted by the Evrèmondes. She hates the all of aristocracy. She think this country (French) controlled by the aristocracy and she do not have any authority as a normal citizen. Her family is broken because of the Evrèmondes. A little child lives in the dark time without any help and care that is very difficult. She had undergone so much difficult life in her childhood. We can image the bad life in her childhood. Hungry, poor and insult around the little girl. There are too many sad, pains and angry in her heart. So she kill the aristocracy by very aridity way and she wants kill all of the Evrèmondes family, even the little child. The author use this action can express the Madame Defarge is a very sad woman, the sad experience cause her to be crazy. Her angry make she only want to revenge, she live in the hatred until died. She never feels what the happiness is. In finally, these pains take her to the hell. So she is a very miserable person in the book.
